“Before working with Gwen, I was lost in my body, and I had no leash on my mind. I felt like I was that garbage spirit from Spirited Away, and I was. I woke up every morning, and put on a mask that was covering what I really wanted others to see. I was caught deeply in a codependent relationship, living in an area where I knew no one, and I had essentially cut the world off. “My goals for [Pleasure & Power] were to realize my power, deconstruct my limiting beliefs, take control of my life in every aspect - work wise, social life, romantic life, spiritual practice, free time, etc. - and build exactly the life I want. I wanted to become 100% confident in myself, my body, my sexuality, my knowledge, my ability to handle whatever life throws at me and bring peace and ease into my life. I said that I wanted to be surrounded by a nurturing community, living my dreams and dreaming up new ones. I’ve struggle with anxiety, social anxiety, depression, poor body imagine, and low self worth for most of my life - so this course for me is building to the antithesis of that (what is my shadow self for me). Ten Months Later:
“From the work I have done with Gwen during our Year-At-A Glance [tarot reading], I was able to manifest a soulmate partner. The theme of 2021 for me was the Two of Cups and Gwen had told me that the person in the Two of Cups represents my equal, that they will have dealt with some hardships in their life as well and be well suited for me. I was about ready to give up on dating in general and then in May 2021, I met the partner of my dreams! They have showed up in ways I could only dream of and it feels like this connection that transcends multiple lifetimes. I have done the work on myself for a long time, but Gwen’s reading helped me to feel like I could release control and have control, a duality that is hard to express. The partner of my dreams and I are still going very strong and just celebrated our 9-month anniversary, on Valentine’s Day no less!
Gwen and I also focused on my career path and my job situation. At the beginning of the year, I knew I wanted to leave my job, but didn’t have the confidence I desired to go after the jobs I coveted. As the year went on, I fell into a toxic workplace situation at the same company and was ultimately let go from my position. Gwen predicted that 2021 was going to be a year of transformation, change, and major work for myself in terms of my self-worth and growth. My Saturn Return in Aquarius IS after all in the 6th House (job, routine, wellness, structure, etc)! After being let go from my job, I am still currently on the hunt for a new one, but I’m a completely different person than I was a year ago. My mindset has shifted, I’m going after badass roles with badass companies, and I knew from the Year-At- A-Glance that I was going to have duality within my outer and inner worlds from the cards and from Gwen’s insight, knew that I would have my community no matter what to support me!
Gwen has also given me the gift of being more in touch with my own intuition and witchcraft abilities. I saw many spirit animal guides throughout my time before I was let go from my job who were guiding me along on my journey: Spider, Gecko, and Frog. All these creatures presented themselves to me more than once as masters of weaving fate, to be adaptable, and to metamorphize and take a leap of faith. Not a day later after I saw this one frog make a monumental leap from my second story apartment onto the elephant ear plant below, I was let go from my job.
Through it all though, I was so in tune with my sensual nature, my understanding and knowing that things are going to be ok. It still is scary at times, but one never grew in their comfort zones! Gwen gave me so much more than just a Year-At-A-Glance Tarot Reading. She walked alongside me on this journey and this year I also booked another Year-At-A-Glance reading because they help me call in what I desire and need for myself. I listened to Whitney Houston & Kygo’s “Higher Love” rendition 64 times in 2021 according to Spotify. That was all manifestation work to help call in that Two of Cups energy and boy did it come through in more ways than I could have imagined! Gwen, thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

“I booked a session with Gwen when I was going through a breakup - one I was resisting at all costs but needed. She referred to Gwen as a Love Witch and I impulsively booked a session without even reading her bio. I just felt like if I needed anything, I needed a Love Witch. I had no idea what it would be like, but Gwen met me exactly where I was mentally. She didn't sugar coat anything and was honest (which is what I needed). Even when the "soulmate" card was pulled, she reminded me that there's many definitions for soulmates, and to asked me to ask myself what that definition is. She encouraged me to find healing in whatever way I needed it - even if it included choosing not to block my ex (which everyone was telling me to do). I felt like Gwen was the first person who really saw me for me and understood that leaving an emotionally abusive relationship was really hard and healing wasn't linear. After that reading, I wanted to continue the work, and booked a Year Reading, and then jumped on the opportunity when she offered packages. Through my work with her so far, we discussed large issues and themes in my life, as well as some small tangible things, like, should I continue to share a dog with my ex? Where is my coaching business going and how, specifically, Can I work more with women in emotional abuse? I engaged in a lot of personal work and a lot of healing in getting over (or through?) the break up with my ex, but I do credit my work with Gwen for helping me when logic and therapy didn't - when I needed to tap into the energy of something outside of myself, and the magic of Tarot, and just receive the messages that were sent to me. I will always remember her drawing the Empress card for me, and the 5 of pentacles for him, in one of the final months of my healing. My work with Gwen taught me that I needed to be protective of my energy and that it's actually okay to hibernate from the world sometimes (or most times) when I need to (need, not want). It is a gift I have now, and as a former people pleaser, it feels really good to feel empowered to protect and listen to my intuition instead of just giving.”
